Through a simple family scenario, local estate planning attorney Libby Banks will walk us through the basics of estate planning—what a trust is, why you might need one, the different roles people play within an estate plan, and how documents such as wills and powers of attorney work together to carry out your wishes.

We encourage you to bring anyone who is named in your estate plan—or may one day serve in an important role—as well as friends or colleagues who may have questions of their own. And if you don’t have an estate plan yet, this is a great opportunity to learn why it matters and where to begin.
